Eisenbach 1, Lauterbach
Eisenbach Castle is a very well-preserved complex, the main parts of which date from the 16th century and which has been owned by the Riedesel family for around 500 years. In contrast to the interior of the building, the idyllic castle park is freely accessible. A visit - which is ideally combined with a tour of the city of Lauterbach - is rounded off with a visit to the café.
A wonderful castle, beautiful surroundings, just great !! ?? Definitely a nice place to visit, the castle is beautiful ?
Very nice castle and wide areas for hiking. Very calm and beautiful
We stopped here after a short walk. Coffee and cake were very good.
Always beautiful
A beautiful castle on a rock. A road leads to the castle that is easy to drive on by bike. You just can't get to the gate.
Solid thing. Friendly service. Fits.
Well, better, Schloss Eisenbach. What a benefit without a WANTED SCHICKI MICKIS
Externally well-kept castle. The garden is nicely laid out.
Very nice castle, idyllic location.
The castle is worth seeing, but you couldn't get in because everything is private. That something so beautiful has stood the test of time is great. The paths around the castle and the old cemetery are also very beautiful. After the walk you can stop off at the Burg Post Eisenbach restaurant / cafe. You can also sit outside. An old farm is directly opposite.
Eisenbach Castle is in a very romantic location and can be easily reached on foot from Lauterbach. I also always like to walk through the spacious park. The restaurant is always nice as a destination. Very cozy inside and a wonderful view of the landscape outside. The offer is good and sufficient. Coming back soon during the stream tour.
Wonderfully romantic place, especially in the evening when the sun goes down and the flock of sheep is grazing. Sit outside in the rustic restaurant and drink delicious Lauterbacher beer, enjoy the delicious food and at moderate prices and love friendly service! We discovered this by chance, from the volcano cycle path. And now have feasted here 3 times. Absolutely recommended. !!!
Great café, restaurant with a historic ambience! Very tasty cake and nice service. Should be included in a visit to Lauterbach!
Larger, idyllic castle complex in the Rhön with a large park, old trees and a nearby guest house. Ideal for walks and hikes.
Toll
Because there are no 0 stars. Just terrible. The menu is too small, the waitress falls asleep while walking, the soup is cold and tasteless, etc.
Very nice beer garden, delicious food and drinks, an insider tip.
After a little more than half of the Bach route (which is very nice, by the way) ate a really delicious salad there. Exactly fitting to easily walk the last part of the way
Food was ok, green sauce was very good. The sauce for roast pork, however, is completed. Not so great.
I really liked the area. Coffee and cake tasted good and the staff was very friendly despite the corona load. The food was also delicious on the second visit.
Such a beautiful venue
ok
